The Friends of the Swansea Public Library will be holding their
monthly meeting on Wednesday February 5th, 2014 at 6:30 PM at the
library on Main St. The public is
invited to attend. The Friends will be
working on 2014slate of events including the March St. Patrick’s Day program, Annual Plant Sale and fundraising plans.
The Friends of the Library are a nonprofit group whose
purpose is to support and enhance the programs and services of the Swansea
Public Library. With funds raised from
membership dues and various fundraisers, the Friends are able to support the
library and the Swansea community by providing adult and youth programs
throughout the year, including museum passes, equipment and furniture and to support
many of the libraries adult and children’s programs.  Â
