The Swansea Historical Society Open House will take place on Saturday May 3 and Sunday May 4th from 11:00-4:00PM at the Luther Store Museum, located at the intersection of Old Warren Road, Pearse Road and Maple Avenue in Swansea, Massachusetts. Museum Tours and talks will be ongoing throughout the day. On Saturday May 3, the Providence Brigade Band will be performing at 11:00AM.Â
The Luther Store was an historic general store that remains a testament to a bygone era. Now a museum where visitors can gain insight into the daily history of Swansea, the shop was included in the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.Â
