
November is Novel Writing Month and the library is sponsoring several NANOWRIMO events including:
- Saturday Write-Ins
Come meet local fellow novelists! Meet up for all-day write-ins at the library. We have space for up to a ten - WIFI and Power Outlets. (laptop friendly environments)
- Coffee and Tea to enhance the creative flow
- Online and print resources to help the writing process
- Saturday, November 23rd, 10 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
- Saturday, November 30th, 10 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
On Tuesday November 19th, writer Steven Manchester will present a writing workshop titled, Understanding the Writing Process, which begins at 6:30PM. Writing the Mystery Novel, with writer R. M. Clark, will be offered on Thursday November 21st at 6:30PM. He will discuss how to write a mystery novel and also talk about his new mystery novel, Center Point, which will be available in December.  And on Tuesday November 26th, we will end NANOWRIMO with a Poetry Writing Workshop by poet Nancy Boardman at 6:30PM. Sign up for one or all of these workshops at the library. Contact the library at 508-674-9609.
