Seekonk's Jake Texeira completed in the 400 meter hurdles for the UMass-Dartmouth men's track team.

Seekonk's Jake Texeria was seventh in the 400 meter hurdles at the New England Division III Championships at Colby's Harold Alfond Stadium Saturday in Waterville, ME. He clocked a time of 54.52 seconds.

"It's nice to see our people running, jumping or throwing their best at the end of the season," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Steve Gardiner. "We're right in the middle of finals, so some of our people couldn't come. I'm pleased with how we did, and pleased with my assistants, Darren DeAndrade, who coaches the throwers, and Hal Miller, who coaches Gerald Arneaud and the relay teams. It's nice to see them do well."
