FINAL WEEKEND!
Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 7pm to 11pm.
August 2nd August 4th.
The 99 is a traveling walk-through theater that graphically reenacts the five leading
causes of death in teenagers and young adults. Many of these deaths are
influenced by drugs or alcohol and a vast majority of them can be
avoided.
The production is state-of-the-art and designed
to portray the very real consequences of poor decisions that claim
almost 37,000 young lives every year. The production is not based on
fear or scare tactics, but rather is based solely on reality with each
room designed from real life situations.
It's housed in a 20,000 square
foot air-structure and features 13 rooms each portraying real-life
situations where guests will experience a 45 minute guided tour. (Fog machines and stobe-lights will be in use.)
The 99
is a symbol based on statistics from the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention,) which indicate that an average of 99 young people die from auto-related accidents,
drugs, alcohol, domestic violence, homicide,
suicide and other poor life choices every day in this country.
Don't miss this opportunity to experience a wake-up call from 12 year olds to adult in the Southeastern Massachusetts and greater Providence area. Spread the word! Get there early to beat the crowd!
