2nd Annual SHS Bowlathon March 7

The Sharon High
School PTSO is sponsoring its second annual Bowlathon, Friday, March 7, at
Westgate Lanes in Brockton.

This Cosmic
Bowling event is a fun, social afternoon for all grades. Students will enjoy bowling,
a DJ, prizes and snacks, and also will have an opportunity to give back to the
community at the same time. This year's event is
supporting the Ilse Marks Food Pantry in Stoughton. Students are being asked to
contribute $5 and 5 cans of food (which can be dropped off in the office
before, during or after school). The goal is 1,000 cans and $1,000 for the food
pantry. Donations without participation also will be accepted.

Donated
cans will be used to build a “Canstruction” sculpture shaped like a gigantic
bowling pin! (For more information see www.canstruction.org.)

Like last year,
students are being encouraged to sign up in groups during lunch so they can
share a lane with their friends. Each participant will receive a T-shirt. Bus
transportation to and from Westgate Lanes will be provided as needed.
