1 Dead After Vehicle Hits Guardrail In Sharon

SHARON, MA — A man has died after he was ejected from a vehicle during a crash on Thursday night, according to the Sharon Police Department.

Sharon officers responded to Old Post Road near South Main Street at about 10 p.m. When they arrived, they found a single vehicle with front-end damage against a guardrail, and the male occupant who had been ejected was dead, police said.

Authorities had not released the man's identity as of Friday morning.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Sharon police, the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and the Norfolk District Attorney's Office.
