Brain Matters is Subject of Next 'Conversations'
There will be a presentation and questions and answers about neurologic diseases and doctor/patient communication. The program is free and open to the public.

"Brain Matters" will be the subject of the next Conversations at the Meetinghouse, at 7 p.m. May 4 at the Unitarian Church of Sharon.
Gary Johnson, MD, a Sharon resident, has been a neurologist for over 20 years. This Harvard/Brigham and Women's Hospital trained physician cares for patients with a variety of neurological conditions. His areas of specialization include diseases of the peripheral nerve, migraine disorders and the use of Botox for neurological diseases.
He is committed to the education of his patients, trainees and other medical professionals. Dr. Johnson will discuss what neurologists do and how to maintain a "healthy" brain. He will also share what he has learned from his patients and how one can be an active participant in their care.

Dr. Johnson is affiliated with the Neurology Foundation Inc., a group practice at Rhode Island and Miriam Hospitals, Providence, RI. Dr Johnson is an associate professor (clinical) at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University.
