One Book, One Town Offers Book Discussion
One Book's first book discussion is on Monday, March 5.
One Book, One Town 2012: Sharon Reads Together is hosting the first of two book discussions centered around this year's book choice, "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay" at 7 p.m. Monday, March 5.
Join committee member Jayne Fargnoli at the Sharon Public Library to discuss Michael Chabon's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel.
"Kavalier & Clay" showcases a dazzling array of themes, plot lines, and protagonists that make for a rich discussion, including escape, comic books, superheroes, Jewish identity, family, love, loss, the old world of Europe and the new America of mid-20th Century. Come with questions, issues and topics to explore, and enjoy an engaging discussion with fellow Sharonites and book lovers.
