Rising Hope Farm Program opens this July at Yankee Stables

Rising Hope Farm program is a new equestrian and enrichment program for children 5-12 with and without challenges offering weekly and Saturday programs and lessons.

Rising Hope Farm is a new program located at Yankee Stables. This small program for 16-20 children will offer riding (pre-riding and beginners), enrichment and farm related skills programs for children ages 5 to 12 with and without challenges. The full day program will run for six weeks beginning July 8, 2013 and ending  August 30, 2013. It will include the following components: equestrian skills , small animal care (rabbits) , arts exploration in music and visual arts, fitness and recreation. There is also a  half day Saturday program. Riding lessons are also offered . At Rising Hope Farm skills are broken down and assessed for each child with progress monitoring related to skill mastery, motivation to learn, and level of independence within expected accommodations.

Built on the principles of Universal Design for Learning Rising Hope Farm Program seeks to offer an accessible and supported setting for greater inclusion of children with a range of variabilities.
