Razia emigrated from Afghanistan to attend graduate school in the area and eventually moved to Duxbury where she ran a couple of businesses for a number of years before 9/11.  The events of that day inspired her to reach out to the firefighter responders in New York and eventually led her to return to her home country and build the Zabuli school.  A truly phenomenal woman.

A brief history of Afghanistan will also be presented. Afghani appetizers and desserts will be served.  Afghani crafts will also be on display and available for purchase.
