Everwood Day Camp Holds Free Family Fun Day and Open House

Everwood Day Camp will hold a free Family Fun Day and Open House from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.

This rain or shine event is open to all. In the camp's 8,000 square foot heated lodge there will be games, arts and crafts, giveaways, a bouncy castle, snacks and drinks. Drew of Drew's Balloons will be making balloon creations while Colores Kids will be doing face painting and glitter art. Outdoors will be sports (including GaGa, hockey, tetherball and basketball) plus kayaking and paddleboarding in Lake Massapoag with the great demo equipment provided by Eastern Mountain Sports, who will also be providing lessons.

Grab a warm, fresh-baked camp cookie on one of the camp tours led by the camp's directors throughout the event.

There will also be a special bonus gift of an exclusive Everwood hooded sweatshirt for those who enroll at the open house. Many groups are filled for this summer, so call in advance to inquire about space, or consider the camp for 2013.
