The Sharon Performing Artists Association's second in its series of annual youth concerts is at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 21 at the Unitarian Church of Sharon, 4 North Main St.
The first half of the concert will feature piano students of Maya Gurevich, Lina Yen and Rita Corey, a clarinet student of Liz Leehey and a Sharon flute student.
The second half of the concert will feature Sharon High School senior Ingrid Yen’s Tropical Trio playing the first movement of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Trio No. 1 in A minor, and selections from Paul Schoenfield’s Café Music. The trio, Ingrid Yen, violin, Madeleine Tucker, cello, and David Lim, piano was recently awarded the Bronze Medal in the Fischoff National Chamber Music Association competition.

Additionally, the Sharon High School Madrigal Choir will sing several selections and Sangwon Lee, clarinet and Jeanie Lee, piano will play Messager’s Solo de Concours. Sangwon is finishing his junior year at the University of Michigan and Jeanie is a graduate student at New York University.
Admission at the door: $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and $5 for children.
