Learn the history of the sword through a combination of lecture, discussion, and physical demonstration. Historical sword fights will be demonstrated and the presenters will discuss common misconceptions about swords. Presented by Jeff Goodhind, Director of Interpretive Studies for the Association for Renaissance and Medieval Swordsmanship, and Jeff Lord, librarian for the MA Center for Interdisciplinary Renaissance Studies.
