Literacy Volunteers Needed

 If you have the time and the desire to help adult learners improve their literacy skills, we have an opportunity for you. All you need is a high school diploma and sensitivity to the struggles of adult students. Volunteer Tutors will be trainded and all supporting materials will be provided. Our program serves adult learners from Stoughton, Sharon, Canton, Brockton and other surrounding towns.
Commitment: One orientaion session and 18 hours of traniing. Meet with your student 2 hours per week for a year.
Where: All orientations and Trainings are held at the Stoughton Public Library-Wales French Room
Important: This is a certificate program. Attendance is required at one orientation and all trainings to be certified.
