MBTA Starting Commuter Rail Service to RI's Wickford Junction

Traveling between Sharon and Wickford Junction in Kingston, R.I. picks up another option in 10 days.

The MBTA will run 10 roundtrips weekdays between Wickford Junction and Boston's South Station starting Monday, April 23, the MBTA and the Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad Company announced today in a press release.

Trains will depart from Wickford Junction, inbound to Providence/South Station, at the following times:

• Train 802 – 4:50 a.m. (arrives in Providence at 5:25 a.m.; South Station at 6:40 a.m.)
• Train 806 – 5:58 a.m. (arrives in Providence at 6:33 a.m.; South Station at 7:45 a.m.)
• Train 808 – 6:37 a.m. (arrives in Providence at 7:12 a.m.; South Station at 8:16 a.m.)
• Train 812 – 7:45 a.m. (arrives in Providence at 8:20 a.m.; South Station at 9:32 a.m.)
• Train 814 – 9:10 a.m. (arrives in Providence at 9:45 a.m.; South Station at 10:57 a.m.)
• Train 818 – 1:10 p.m. (arrives in Providence at 1:41 p.m.; South Station at 2:47 p.m.)
• Train 820 – 3:40 p.m. (arrives in Providence at 4:10 p.m.; South Station at 5:20 p.m.)
• Train 8802 – 6:55 p.m. (arrives in Providence at 7:25 p.m.; no service to South Station)
• Train 8804 – 7:50 p.m. (arrives in Providence at 8:20 p.m.; no service to South Station)
• Train 830 – 10:10 p.m. (arrives in Providence at 10:40 p.m.; South Station at 11:50 p.m.)

Trains will arrive at Wickford Junction, outbound from Providence/South Station, at the following times:

•  Train 8801 – 5:43 a.m. (Departs Providence at 5:11 a.m.)
•  Train 8803 – 5:45 a.m. (Departs Providence at 6:17 a.m.)
•  Train 8805 – 7:32 a.m. (Departs Providence at 7 a.m.)
•  Train 803 – 8:54 a.m. (Departs South Station at 7:20 a.m.)
•  Train 807 – 12:59 p.m. (Departs South Station at 11:20 a.m.)
•  Train 809 – 3:26 p.m. (Departs South Station at 1:45 p.m.)
•  Train 813 – 5:41 p.m. (Departs South Station at 4 p.m.)
•  Train 817 – 6:42 p.m. (Departs South Station at 5 p.m.)
•  Train 819 – 7:18 p.m. (Departs South Station at 5:40 p.m.)
•  Train 825 – 9:55 p.m. (Departs South Station at 8:15 p.m.)
