New Downtown Sharon Pizzeria Now Targets February Opening

Sharon's newest pizzeria now should open downtown during the second or third week in February, owner and Sharon resident Steve Fenerjian said today.

The Mangia Restaurant Group had hoped to open its 25-seat Mangia Neapolitan Pizzeria at 21 South Main St. in mid-July.

However, the construction contractor's work on the Hopkinton and Norton restaurants has delayed the Sharon opening, Fenerjian said.

"Sharon's 90 percent done," he said.

The Sharon restaurant will be the Mangia Restaurant Group's corporate one, where "we're going to be constantly testing new dishes," Fenerjian has said.

The location formerly housed Tees Plus Screen Printing and Embroidery.
