Rotary Club to Host Screening of Beyond Belief on Sept. 11

On Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. at Sharon High School, the Rotary Club of Sharon will host a screening of, Beyond Belief, the first in the two-part film series Overcoming 9/11.

The series features the inspiring stories of women who overcame their personal tragedies, but changing the face of Afghanistan. Described by ABC news as “a truly remarkable story” which follows the journey of two 9/11 widows who coped with their personal tragedies by helping widows in Afghanistan.

Veteran broadcast journalist Ron Sanders (of WBZ and WGBH fame) will emcee the event which will feature the showing of the award-winning film “Beyond Belief” and interviews with the filmmaker Beth Murphy and the film’s heroine Patti Quigley.
