Scott Brown (R), Elizabeth Warren (D): U.S. Senate
Scott Brown has represented Massachusetts in the U.S. Senate since a January 2010 special election held to fill the U.S. Senate seat vacated by the late Ted Kennedy. Brown defeated state Attorney General Martha Coakley with 1,168,107 votes, or 51.9 percent, to her 1,058,682 votes, or 47.1 percent.

Joe Kennedy III (D), Sean Bielat (R): 4th Congressional District
Democrat Joe Kennedy III and Republican Sean Bielat will be the two names on the ballot Tuesday for the Fourth Congressional District. Kennedy, the former Middlesex assistant district attorney, has visited Sharon twice as he campaigns for the Fourth Congressional District seat. Bielat, the Norfolk resident, is running for the Fourth Congressional District seat for the second time. He launched his campaign at the Attleboro Area Industrial Museum in January.
James Timilty (D), Jeff Bailey (R): State Senate, Bristol and Norfolk District
Jeff Bailey, the senior pastor at the Grace Baptist Church in Attleboro, launched his state Senate campaign at the Lafayette House in Foxborough this spring; he will be running against James Timilty, the incumbent state senator from Walpole, who addressed the Sharon Adult Center and Council on Aging Over 60 Men's Club in March.
House of Representatives: 8th Norfolk District.
State Rep. Louis L. Kafka (D-Stoughton) will be running for the 8th Norfolk District, which includes Mansfield's precinct 4, the town of Sharon, and Stoughton precincts 2, 3, 4 and 6, as well as Walpole precincts 3 and 4.

Sharon Updates From The Polls
9:15 p.m. - The preliminary results are in at the Sharon polls. Sharon has a total of 12,801 registered voters.
12:45 p.m. - The voting at Sharon High School has been a steady flow of people coming in and out. The next rush will be the afterwork crowd around 6:00 p.m.
9:30 a.m. - By 9:30 a.m. the lines at Sharon High School had subsided.
Bob Jubinville, running for Governor's Council was outside with his sign. "The Governors Council is one of the oldest selected bodies in the United States. Adams put it in the Constitution of Massachusetts to protect us from bad judicial nominations. It gives people the last say and who should judge us," said Jubinville.
Heather Buder, a mom who came to vote with her two children said, "I've always brought my children with me to vote because I want them to understand how important it is to vote and be heard."
5:45 a.m. - Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. All precincts are reporting to Sharon High School.
