Sharon Recreation Department Seeking Rec. Basketball League Coordinator

The Town of Sharon, MA (18,000 pop) is seeking applicants for a part time, seasonal Recreation Basketball League Coordinator. Provides administrative, supervisory, and instructional services, under the general direction of the Assistant Recreation Director, in planning, managing, our comprehensive Recreation Basketball Program. Direct supervisory responsibility for all volunteers and participants.

Requirements:

2-3 years in a supervisory role; experience in the recreation field or similar setting required; Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management or related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent planning, organizational and customer service skills. Must be able to coordinate various programs and projects simultaneously. Typical schedule includes weeknights and weekends. This is a part-time, non-benefit position; Salary DOQ.
