The Sharon Concert Band and the Roy Scott Big Band will present their annual Pops concert on Saturday, June 7. The show will feature a range of popular songs, including several by The Beatles — commemorating the 50th anniversary of their “U.S. Invasion”.
Sharon Concert Band will perform Beatles’ hits such as “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” “A Hard Day's Night,” “Drive My Car,” “Yesterday,” “Hey Jude” and “Come Together,” among others. The Roy Scott Big Band will also play songs from The Beatles, including “She's Leaving Home,” and “Eleanor Rigby” as well as “Soulful Strut” by Eugene Record and William Sanders, and a Quincy Jones arrangement of “I Left My Heart in San Francisco.”
Advance tickets are available through the bands' website and cost $12 for adults and $6 for seniors and students; $15 for adults and $9 for seniors and students at the door.
