Calling all runners and walkers!
The Shrewsbury Special Needs Program will be sponsoring the Special 5K Road Race and 1 Mile Fun run on Saturday June 21st. The proceeds benefit the the special needs program which provides social events and special olympics training opportunites.
The 1 mile fun run starts at 8:30 am
The 5K road race starts at 9:00 am.
Both races start and finish at the Floral Street School.
June 17th is the deadline for preentry fee of $20.00. Post entry fee is $25.00. The fun run is $5.00.
The first 100 runners will receive a t-shirt featuring the logo below.
Hope to see many local runners and walkers joining us in the this fun fitness event. The race is organized by the Volunteers from the Shrewsbury Special Needs Program.
To register in advance you can sign on on the Parks & Recreation online web site or pick up a paper registration form and sign up at Town Hall.
