SHREWSBURY, MA — Beginning on Apr. 14, crews from the engineering and environmental consulting firm Weston & Sampson will be performing routine manhole "check-ups" between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The quick inspections involve opening manholes to take measurements and gather data. The town said this is essential for planning future improvements and keeping local infrastructure running smoothly
Shrewsbury officials are also warning residents to exercise caution when driving near crews and to keep a safe distance from open manholes.
