Shrewsbury Announces Road Closure Ahead Of Utility Work

SHREWSBURY, MA — Drivers who use Cherry Street should plan for a road closure this week.

Cherry Street will be closed to through traffic from Route 9 to Gold Street from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, and Wednesday, July 22, while crews install water and sewer infrastructure at 106 Cherry St., the town announced on Monday afternoon.

Local residents will still be able to access their properties during the work, town officials said.. Cherry Street will reopen to through traffic outside working hours.
