Anna Maria College Academic Symposium to Feature Guest Speakers, Presentations from Campus Community

Alumna Clementine Bihiga '14G to discuss her book: "Happily Broken: Discovering Happiness through Pain and Suffering"

WHAT: Media and community members are invited to join Anna Maria College at its annual academic symposium. The event will feature visiting speakers and those from the campus community to discuss issues important to the state, country and world, as well as those specific to academic disciplines. Among many speakers, this year’s symposium will welcome Anna Maria alumna Clementine Bihiga ‘14G, the author of “Happily Broken: Discovering Happiness through Pain and Suffering,” which draws on her experience living through and fleeing war-torn Rwanda. The presentations of Anna Maria faculty and students will cover topics such as poverty, mental illness, addiction, school violence, music therapy and more.

Anna Maria College is a private, co-educational institution founded in 1946 by the Sisters of Saint Anne.
