Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

SHREWSBURY, MA — Local and state police were called to Oak Middle School on Friday after a bullet was found in a hallway at the school, according to news reports. Shrewsbury and state police searched the school Friday morning, but did not find any other bullets or weapons, <a href="https://boston.cbslocal.com/2021/12/03/shrewsbury-oak-middle-school-round-of-ammunition/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">WBZ reported</a>. Students remained in the school while police conducted the search, according to the report. They were not informed about why the school was searched until after it was over. A school shooting this week in Michigan left four dead and seven injured. Oxford High School student Ethan Crumbley, 15, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, among other charges.
