Crusaders To Host Army & Play At Bucknell
The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team returns to action when it plays two games this week

- Holy Cross will host Army West Point on Wednesday at 5:35 p.m. The Crusaders are 1-9 overall this season and are 1-1 in Patriot League play. The Black Knights are 5-5 overall so far this season and 0-2 in Patriot League action, with a 17-4 loss to Lafayette and a 19-9 defeat against Bucknell. The game against Army is the SGA Game of the Week.
- This is the first ever meeting between the Crusaders and the Black Knights, as it is Army’s first season with a varsity women’s lacrosse program.
- The Crusaders will then travel to Lewisburg, Pa., to face Patriot League opponent Bucknell on Saturday, April 2, at 1:00 p.m.
- The Bison are 7-3 overall this season and 1-1 in the Patriot League, following a 17-7 loss to Boston University and a 19-9 win over Army.
- Last season the Crusaders defeated Bucknell 12-10 in overtime. To read the recap, go here.
- After this week’s games, the Crusaders will travel to Baltimore, Md., to face Loyola Maryland on Saturday, April 9, at 1:00 p.m.
