Elsie Kaye Artisan Gifts & Flamework Studio

Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

This festival will feature several events including: On Friday - Family Fun Night with Mr. Bigz Music Machine from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Also, Gerardo's Italian Kitchen from 6 to 8:30 p.m. On Saturday - 5K Road Race/Fitness Walk from 9:30 a.m. to noon and other events from noon to 7 p.m. such as The College Fund Band, Mr. Magic, and more. Also, Gerardo's Italian Kitchen from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and the 7th Annual Pub Quiz from 8 to 11 p.m. ($60 entry fee per team of four). On Sunday - pancake breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m.; celebratory mass at 11 a.m.; opening ceremony with State Reps. Matt Beaton and Kim Ferguson at noon; and other events from noon to 5 p.m., including Hudson High Camerata and more. Also, grand raffle drawing at 5 p.m. Through the Weekend - moonwalks and inflatables, food, games, prizes, silent auction and raffles.
