SHREWSBURY, Mass. - The First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury invites one and all to our Community Open House to be held on Sunday, November 6th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Come in to see the place where Shrewsbury's town history began! The Open House will offer guests two tours. One will feature our historic 18th century Meeting House, the Church Chapel, Harpsichord Parlor and Gifford Hall. Another tour will showcase the Sunday School, including the Nursery, Preschool class, and demonstrations of Workshop Rotation activities for grades K-6 based on the multiple intelligences approach to learning. Sunday School staff will provide curriculum information for grades 7-12, and nursery staff will answer questions about infant and toddler services. In addition to the tours, representatives of our vibrant Youth Group, Music Ministry and Outreach programs will be on hand to share about current projects and activities. Light refreshments, including Shrewsbury Cakes, will be provided! For the full experience, please join us that morning for our worship service at 9:30, Fellowship Hour at 10:30 and the Open House to follow at 11:00.
