Getting the Most From Your Digital Camera

Are you new to the world of digital photography? Do you feel as though you are not getting the most from your digital camera? This "Getting the Most From Your Digital Camera" workshop is designed to help you understand the features of digital cameras. The landscape and wildlife of Mass Audubon: Broad Meadow Brook Conservation Center and Wildlife Sanctuary provides the perfect backdrop to practice techniques to improve your digital photography.

The workshop will be held at Broad Meadow Brook on Saturday, March 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will review topics such as optical and digital zoom, white balance, ISO and resolution. Proper lighting, focus, depth of field and composition will also be covered in the workshop.

In addition, you will learn about software that enhances and crops your digital images to create stunning prints. Bring your digital camera, extra batteries, instruction manual (if you have it), a water bottle and a bag lunch. Be prepared to be indoors and outdoors
