Fire Causes $100K Of Damage To Shrewsbury Home

The family escaped unharmed but has been displaced, fire officials said.

SHREWSBURY, MA — A fire caused more than $100,000 worth of damage at a Rawson Hill Drive home Monday afternoon. Shrewsbury Fire Chief James Vuonoa said no one was hurt as the family made it out of the home before firefighters arrived.

The fire started in the kitchen and spread across the home before being quickly put out. The cause was undetermined, but fire officials said it was unintentional.

The family was displaced due to fire, smoke and water damage.
