One of the largest collectible shops in the world, the just reopened its doors this winter and has reinvented itself.

From Hummels to Lladro figures Cabbage Patch dolls to celebrity plates, this small shot nestled in the heart of downtown has been a collectible store since the 1970s.

"My family started it and we have been reinventing ourself during the last few years," said Kevin Samara, owner of the Shropshire Curiosity Shoppe. "We will be launching our online store, which will be the largest in the world for collectibles, and we've expanded our business to include restoring, appraising and buying priceless family heirlooms."

Samara has a wealth of information to share about the collectibles he sells as he understands the shop is like taking a step back in time.

"I have customers who have brought their children to the store and now their children's children," he said. "The shoppe is like a museum stuck in time from the mid-1980s with collectible going back through the years."
