Holy Cross To Play Southern In First Four Game On March 16
The game will be broadcasted on Wednesday, March 16 at 6:40 p.m. on truTV.

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men’s basketball team is one of two No. 16 seeds in the West Region of the 2016 NCAA Tournament. This will be the 13th appearance for Holy Cross in the NCAA tournament.
The Crusaders will play a First Four game against No. 16 seed Southern in Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday, March 16. The matchup with the Jaguars will start at 6:40 p.m. and will be broadcasted on truTV.
The winner of the Holy Cross-Southern game will then play No. 1 seed Oregon in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, March 18 in Spokane, Wash.

Holy Cross capped off its magical run in the Patriot League Tournament with a 59-56 victory over Lehigh on March 9, for its league-best sixth conference title. The Crusaders entered the tournament as the No. 9 seed and became the first team in conference history to win four tournament games – all on the road – as well as knocking off the top two seeds in the Tournament (No. 1 Bucknell and No. 2 Lehigh).
Southern stands 22-11 overall and won the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Tournament Championship. The Jaguars, who entered the SWAC Tournament as the No. 4 seed, defeated No. 1 seed Texas Southern in the semifinals and No. 3 seed Jackson State in the championship game.
