Important Message From Shrewsbury Water & Sewer Division About Monthly Billing

This is an important message from the Department of Public Works regarding the most recent Utility Billing dated August 5, 2021. There is a data error present on the current billing. The data error does not impact the bill amount; however, inaccurate data is presented for Sewer usage amounts (as seen below).

Sewer demand/usage is derived from the metered water consumption. For the vast majority of accounts, the sewer usage should be identical to the water usage. Again, this error did not impact the billed amount, it only caused an error with the reported usage for the Sewer Utility.
