Important Update On The Walnut Street Water Main Project In Shrewsbury

August 11, 2020

On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, Haluch Water Contracting will be connecting the new water main on Walnut Street to the water mains on Eaton Place, Walnut Drive, and Leonard Parkway. Residents on those streets will not have water from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday to allow the work to be completed.

On Thursday, August 13, 2020, Haluch Water Contracting will be connecting the new main on Walnut Street to the water main on Hillando Drive. Residents on Hillando Drive, Bayberry Circle, Old Farm Circle, and Walnut Street from the intersection of Floral Street to 117 Walnut Street will not have water on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 3:00 p.m.

Please follow the link below for a map of the area where water service will be interrupted.

Residents in the vicinity of the impacted area may also have reduced pressure or discolored water due to the interruption in water service. If you experience discolored water after service is restored, please run the cold water in an outside faucet, or downstairs bathtub until it clears.
