July Out is In! Take our Social Media Challenge!

This July Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation and the National Recreation and Park Association are challenging everyone to get out and visit their community parks during national Park and Recreation Month.

This year's theme  "Out is In," encourages individuals, families, friends and coworkers to do something outside everyday that they would normally do inside. From picnicking in the park instead of sitting inside, hold a meeting outside to reading a book outside.

Shrewsbury has plenty of parks for you to visit and enjoy such as Dean Park, Lake Street Park, or the Maple Ave Recreation Area.

Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLENGE.

Post a photo during the month of July to Instagram or Twitter showing us what you are doing OUTSIDE.

1) Follow us on twitter @ShrewsburyParks and/or on Instagram @ShrewsburyParks
2) Post your photo to Twitter or Instagram showing you or your friends doing an indoor activitiy outdoors at a local Shrewsbury park.
3) Tag us and use the hashtags #JulyOutisIn and #ShrewsburyMa so we can find you.

Best photo at the end of the month will win an iTunes Giftcard. Please keep the photos family friendly.
