Man Robbed Liquor Store at Knife Point In Shrewsbury: Police Seek Suspect
A man allegedly robbed a liquor store on Route 9.
SHREWSBURY, MA—Police are seeking a man who allegedly robbed a liquor store at knife point on Tuesday night.
On June 27 at 10:49 p.m. Shrewsbury police responded to the Turnpike Liquor store located at 166 Boston Turnpike (Route 9) for a reported armed robbery. Witnesses told police that a man had robbed the clerk at the store at knifepoint and tried to steal money from the store, and then fled. The clerk was not hurt.
The suspect is described as a male dressed in a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with white stripes on the sleeves, blue jeans and a white cloth or mask on his face. Shrewsbury Police and Massachusetts State Police K-9 searched the area but he eluded police.
