Elsie Kaye Artisan Gifts & Flamework Studio

Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

SHREWSBURY, MA—Police are seeking a man who allegedly robbed a liquor store at knife point on Tuesday night. On June 27 at 10:49 p.m. Shrewsbury police responded to the Turnpike Liquor store located at 166 Boston Turnpike (Route 9) for a reported armed robbery. Witnesses told police that a man had robbed the clerk at the store at knifepoint and tried to steal money from the store, and then fled. The clerk was not hurt. The suspect is described as a male dressed in a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with white stripes on the sleeves, blue jeans and a white cloth or mask on his face. Shrewsbury Police and Massachusetts State Police K-9 searched the area but he eluded police. The Shrewsbury police are asking to report to investigators and any suspicious activity or individuals that may have been seen in the area. Shrewsbury Police Detective Paul A.
