Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

SHREWSBURY, MA — A missing Webster pair who were the subject of a silver alert and later seen in Shrewsbury and Worcester on Wednesday have been found safe, according to local police. Janusz Melewski, 77, and Stanislawa Melewski, 94, were reported missing Tuesday morning, and stopped at the Shrewsbury police station Tuesday night to ask for directions. They were later seen in Sturbridge, West Boylston and Worcester. A police officer in Clinton, Conn., found them sleeping in their car at a closed gas station, according to Webster police. The Melewskis were taken to a hospital in Middletown, Conn., as a precaution, but were expected to return to Massachusetts on Thursday, according to police.
