Regatta Players to Make a Splash with New Production of "Godspell"

The Regatta Players Theater Group is proud to present its fourth annual summer production, “Godspell.” This talented thirteen-member ensemble boasts talent from all over Central Mass and the Greater Boston areas. The production is directed by Martha Deering with Daniel Monopoli, music directed by Bonnie L. Narcisi, and choreographed by Katie Monopoli.

Based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew, “Godspell” focuses on a small community of people who explore different parables through an eclectic blend of songs and storytelling techniques. Set on a Cape Cod-esque beach, this production will bring a contemporary and sunny spin to this staple piece of American musical theater!

“Godspell” features a number of popular songs including, “Day By Day,” “O Bless the Lord, “ “Turn Back, O Man,” and “All Good Gifts.”

Showtimes: Friday, August 8 at 8PM, Saturday, August 9 at 2PM and 8PM, and Sunday, August 10 at 2PM
