Road Scholars 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run This Weekend

This Sunday, April 12, is the annual, popular Shrewsbury Road Scholars 5k/1 Mile Fun Run, starting at noon at the Oak Middle School.

Individuals, families, runners and walkers are welcome and all proceeds benefit the Shrewsbury Public Schools Colonial Fund.

You can register here, or the day of the race between 10-11:30 a.m. at Oak Middle School.

As the committee announces:

New this year – 20 percent off at Marathon Sports. Race bibs and t-shirts will be available for pick up on Saturday, April 11, at Marathon Sports (White City Shopping Center) from noon to 6 p.m. Stop by and avoid the line on race day. Each registered participant will also receive a coupon for 20 percent off everything in the store (except electronics) during bib and t-shirt pick up.

New this year – Carb Load event at Noodles & Company. Noodles & Company (White City Shopping) is hosting a pre-race carb load event! If you are at Marathon Sports to get your bib and t-shirt, walk around the corner and continue your race day preparation at Noodles & Company. Fill up on some tasty carbs, salad or a sandwich and support the Road Scholars Race. From 12 to 6pm on Saturday, April 11, Noodles & Company will donate 20 percent of your bill to the race when you present this flyer.
