The Rotary Club of Shrewsbury has chosen for its fall annual fundraiser a prize calendar, which will spotlight many pictures form Shrewsbury's past as well as a monthly prize for a calendar purchaser.
The calendar has many pictures of Shrewsbury's past (supplied by the Shrewsbury Historical Society) as well as a monthly prize for a lucky calendar purchaser.
Club member Julie Parent said the Rotary will sell 24 ads for the calendar.
"The ads are very simple--your business card on the day page of the calendar," she said.
The cost for an ad is $150 and there will be two per month. Sponsorships, gift certificates and Friends of Rotary are also available.
The Rotary Club of Shrewsbury helps many local community programs such as providing cameras for the NIC unit at UMass Hospital, assisting the St. Anne's Food Bank program, giving Shrewsbury High Scholarships, coordinating Senior Community dinners and helping Shrewsbury Youth & Family Services.
