Shrewsbury Cheerleaders are State Champs

The Shrewsbury High cheerleaders edged out Shepherd Hill.

For the first time, the Shrewsbury High School Cheerleaders are state champions, reported the Shrewsbury Lantern. Shrewsbury edged out Shepherd Hill by one point at Tantasqua Regional High School for the historic win.

The Shrewsbury Fire Department led a ceremonious escort for the cheerleaders back to the high school after the tournament, said the Lantern.
