Shrewsbury Daytime Home Invasion Leaves Woman Injured: Police
Two armed women broke into a Julio Drive home and attacked the woman living inside, police said.

SHREWSBURY, MA — A Shrewsbury woman was injured in a daytime home invasion on Wednesday, leaving her injured after two women attacked her armed with knives, police said.
The incident happened just after noon along Julio Drive. The two women — a 19-year-old from Worcester and a 31-year-old from Southbridge — broke into the home and assaulted the woman inside, police said.
The victim was taken to UMass Memorial in Worcester for treatment of non-life threatening injures. Police said the three women knew each other.

Not long after, Shrewsbury police saw a car associated with the home invasion along Route 9 near Lake Quinsigamond. The two women inside were arrested in charges of armed home invasion, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery to collect a loan, three counts of assault and battery, malicious destruction of property and conspiracy.
