Shrewsbury High School Principal Says Goodbye

Before taking a position in Hudson, Principal Brian Reagan reflects on his time spent at the high school.

It is with mixed emotions that I write this message to all of you.  For the past several months, I have been so focused on wrapping up my duties in Shrewsbury, that I have not had much time to sit and think about my departure from the place I have been proud to call my professional home for the last five years.

A few weeks ago, after our graduation ceremony, I began to feel nostalgic. Now, with the students and teachers gone for the summer and 12-month staff members changing gears to the much slower pace of July and August, I cannot help but think about the fact that change is upon us all.

For the past several weeks, I have been reminiscing about experiences I have shared with so many individuals during my time in Shrewsbury. These memories are almost always filled with joy and pride and leave me feeling thankful for the past five years.

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone, collectively, for making my tenure in Shrewsbury so overwhelmingly positive. I am very grateful for the connections I have made. I have learned so much during my time at Shrewsbury High School and will take many pearls of wisdom with me as I begin my career in Hudson.

Thank you for your kindness, patience, and support. Above all, I will miss the people of the Shrewsbury High School community the most. My hope is to remain connected to SHS from afar. I wish all of you a restful summer and a future full of good health, happiness and success.

Warm Regards,

Brian Reagan
