Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

SHREWSBURY, MA — A Shrewsbury man is facing multiple drug charges following an investigation into drug trafficking in the area. Police initially served a search warrant on the 56-year-old's 23 Howe Ave. home on Jan. 27, which yielded about 264 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and just under $3,000 in cash. Police also searched a safe deposit box at the Route 9 TD Bank on Jan. 31, and a unit at the Route 9 Cube Smart on Feb. 5. Those searches yielded over $9,000 in cash and the recovery of stolen jewelry. Shrewsbury police arrested the man on charges of trafficking cocaine in an amount higher than 200 grabs, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of a class B substance.
