Shrewsbury Man Looks to Open Medical Marijuana Dispensary

John Glowik, a Shrewsbury man, met with town officials regarding a proposal to open up a medical marijuana dispensary in a business park on the Shrewsbury-Grafton town line, according to the Worcester Telegram and Gazette. 

Though the state Department of Public Health has not begun accepting applications, it could license dispensaries by the end of this year. The Telegram said that Glowik's discussions are "very preliminary," and that he, a dialysis patient for 20 years,  is proposing that the dispensary would create 35 jobs.
