SHREWSBURY, MA — Shrewsbury residents will not find Department of Public Works staff at Town Hall on Wednesday as the town marks National Public Works Week with a day of specialized staff training.

An off-site training was scheduled for Wednesday, the town said. No DPW staff will be available at Town Hall during regular business hours that day, though residents with immediate or emergency needs are being directed to contact the Town Manager's Office.

A DPW staff member will be available to respond to and assess emergency situations as needed.
