Shrewsbury Opens Applications For Board, Committee Seats
Shrewsbury residents interested in serving on town government boards and committees can apply for several openings.
SHREWSBURY, MA — Shrewsbury residents interested in serving town government have until June 22 to apply for several board and committee openings.
The town is seeking volunteers for vacancies appointed by the Town Manager and Select Board, including seats on the Affordable Housing Trust, Board of Health, Council on Aging Board, Historical Commission, Planning Board, Soldiers Memorial Commission, Commission on Disabilities, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Committee, Historic District Commission and Shrewsbury Cultural Council, according to a town announcement.
Applicants must submit an online form, a letter of interest and a resume. The town says the application takes less than five minutes to complete.

The town’s current vacancies page includes details about open seats, term lengths and committee information. The town also directs applicants to its Board and Committee Appointment Application Form.
Applications are open through June 22 or until the seats are filled. Residents with questions can contact the Office of the Select Board and Town Manager at 508-841-8508, according to the town.
