Shrewsbury Plans Water Flow Testing For Lake Street
Water flow testing will take place near the construction site of the new Beal School.
SHREWSBURY, MA — Flow testing of the water distribution system will be conducted on Lake Street, near the construction site of the new Beal School on Tuesday.
Testing will start at 1 p.m. The test is necessary to gather important water flow data for the fire suppression system that is being designed for the new Beal School. Officials estimate the test is expected to be completed in under one hour.
During the test, residents in the immediate and adjacent areas may experience brief periods of reduced pressure or discolored water. If you experience discolored water once the test is complete, please run the cold water in the downstairs bathtub until it clears.
