Shrewsbury Police Log: Dec. 22

The Shrewsbury Police arrested the following people:

On Dec. 17, at 1:59 p.m., Teresa M. Bovino, 41, of 261 Tom Swamp Road, Petersham, MA, was arrested at 604 Main St., and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license because of an operating under the influence offense, operating under the influence, second offense, drinking alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle.

On Dec. 17, at 6:32 p.m., Lawrence C. Filion, Sr., 48, of 129 Sayles St., Southbridge, MA, was arrested at 571 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

On Dec. 17, at 10:21 p.m., Francis Mensah, 51, of 77 Merrifield St., Apt. 2R, Worcester, MA, was arrested at 246 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, and charged on a warrant for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

On Dec. 20, at 10 p.m., Nikki Teresa Karnes, 36, of 169 Fairmont Ave., Apt. 2, Worcester, MA, was arrested at 77 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, and charged with possession of a Class E substance.

On Dec. 21, at 1:36 a.m., Connelly D. Castle, 32, of 4 Greenwood Ave., Apt. B, Shrewsbury, was arrested at the corner of Caroline and Harrington Avenues, and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and possession of an open container of alcohol in public.

The Shrewsbury Police also responded to 32 medical calls, 15 suspicious person or vehicle reports, 21 accidents, five disputes or disturbances, two reports of vandalism, four animal complaints and made 120 motor vehicle stops.
